The trial of about thirty couriers against Deliveroo will start on Thursday. Vooruit and PS want to avoid such lawsuits. They have introduced a bill in the House that would treat platform workers as employees instead of as self-employed, so that they automatically receive all the rights that every other working Belgian gets.
